With the start of the 12 Days of Christmas today, we decided to celebrate with a library style twist! On the first day, the library offers you a free library card! Don't have one yet? See the simple process below!

First Day of Christmas My Library Gave to Me...

A Library Card for Free!

Residents of the Clinton School District, excluding those in Tunbridge Township, are eligible for a Vespasian Library Card! With this card, you can borrow physical items such as movies, TV series, puzzles, video games, board games, science kits, audiobooks on CD, and naturally, a wide variety of books! Additionally, you can access e-books, audiobooks, movies, documentaries, TV series, and online classes via our digital streaming platforms.

The best part? All of this is COMPLETELY FREE for two weeks!

So how do you apply for a Vespasian Warner library card? It is super easy!

Cards are issued free to residents (kindergarten through Adult) of the Vespasian Warner Public Library District.  The District encompasses the Clinton Unit 15 boundaries with the exception of Tunbridge Township.  Tunbridge Township residents must pay an annual non-resident fee to obtain a library card.

Residents need to provide state-issued photo I.D. with their current address, showing they live within the Vespasian Warner Library District, to obtain a library card. If the resident's photo I.D. does not have their current address on it, the resident will also need to provide an official document with their current address. Examples include: a piece of mail, a check or check stub, rent receipt, or vehicle registration. For children, the parent or legal guardian needs to provide the above information.  Those who reside in Tunbridge Township will need to bring in a photo I.D. and their tax bill.

For additional details on how to get your Vespasian Warner library card, visit the My Card page on our website.

Now that you have your library card, I wonder what the library will bring you on the second day of Christmas?
