To order please call the Library at 217-935-5174. Orders can also be placed at any time by filling out the online form below.
Patrons must have a Vespasian Warner Public Library card to place an order. Every effort will be made to fulfill orders within 72 hours.
Families should place orders together.
Books, audiobooks, CDs, DVDs, Blu-Rays, magazines, and videogames can be ordered through curbside. Children’s book bundles are also available by subject.
Patrons may request specific titles or provide general information to allow library staff to select items on their behalf. Interlibrary loan is available at this time.

Wait for notification from the Library to let you know when your order is ready.
Pickups are available during all Library hours. You do not need to schedule a pickup time.
When using curbside pickup, pull up near the front door of the library. If necessary, form a line.
Upon arrival, call the library at 217-935-5174. Patrons without cell phones should call the library before leaving home. Do not exit the vehicle.
If there is a line, please call when you enter the line. This will allow staff to have materials ready and waiting. While not anticipated, the line should wrap into the parking lot and not down the street.
Open the vehicle trunk or roll down the back passenger window to receive materials. A staff member will place items in the vehicle without person-to-person contact.
Staff will not engage in extended conversation or contact with patrons.

Walkers and bikers can also use curbside pickup. Please contact the library for details.

BOTH Book Drops are open 24/7. Patrons should return all previous items before picking up new items.
